Continued learning webinars to support teacher engagement with content and curriculum applications. Sessions will feature PRO educators to share classroom resources.
Today’s students write every day for authentic audiences, leveraging their social networks to text, to tweet and to snap their lives. These are forms of micro-writing: short pieces of text crafted to question, summarize or synthesize to gather feedback. In this 30-minute session, learn how to leverage Newsela annotations and Write prompts to get students micro-writing about their reading. Teachers will walk away with strategies to increase micro-writing and amplify student voices.
How do you help develop student voice? Share what has worked for you in our Educator Community and then tune in to see your ideas featured for all attendees!
