As Upper Merion prepared for a new, remote school year, they continued to expand their efforts to provide every child in their district with the resources they need to learn. The district takes an intentional approach to equity by reviewing its curriculum content, ensuring all students and parents can access important information, amongst other district-wide efforts. When it comes to selecting curricular content, Upper Merion teachers leverage both the instructional curations and close reading features of Newsela in order to ensure that all students have what they need to learn.
