Ryan is a Solution Architect at Newsela, where he thought-partners with districts to help them better understand, and meet, their goals and challenges. Prior to Newsela, Ryan has been an ELA teacher for grades 7-12, a founding Assistant Principal for a new high school, a system-level administrator in Support Services, and was most recently the principal of an early childhood and elementary program. He has also served as the Director of District Support for a national nonprofit network of schools, supporting district leader efforts in the areas of deeper learning, project-based learning, and innovation.
