Christina Pirzada, M.Ed.

Senior Product Manager

Christina Pirzada, M.Ed., is a Senior Product Manager at Newsela. In her role, she focuses on learning from educators about their biggest challenges and designs content products to solve them. Christina spearheaded the development of Newsela’s Social Emotional Learning (SEL) Collection and leads a team to create new Collections across subject areas.

Jamie Richard, M.Ed. is currently the Partner Marketing Manager for Newsela. She hosts a monthly webinar, Ed Current which features timely topics in education for change makers. Before joining Newsela, Jamie taught secondary ELA in Pennsylvania, South Carolina and California for eight years, and was also a school leader. Before moving into the edtech space, Jamie was a finalist for Teacher of the Year and received the STAR award for the highest student growth in Pennsylvania.
