Curricular Solutions Architect, Newsela
Anne is a former social studies teacher and curricular leader, with a passion for personalized learning and inquiry. She brings subject matter expertise in the areas of secondary social studies, content embedded literacy and STEM, as well as expertise in developing and implementing responsive, multi-disciplinary curricula. Annie has a wealth of experience as an instructional coach, professional learning facilitator, and as a leader of local and state-wide initiatives to increase teacher capacity and retention.
Sr. Research Analyst
Kayleigh is a Senior Research Analyst on the Learning team at Newsela, where she conducts research on student learning outcomes. Prior to joining, Kayleigh completed her Ph.D. at the University of Connecticut, where she studied literacy acquisition, reading comprehension, and concept development. In her current role, Kayleigh brings her expertise in reading research to reveal insights about how kids learn and grow from Newsela.
