Learning Found: Live Film Screening and Discussion

MAY 13, 2021

Skill and drill versus informed debate? Which approach would you choose?

To illustrate what learning at its best looks like, we filmed a fascinating exercise. Two groups of students were separated into two very different learning approaches. One was taught via a skill-and-drill program; the other, an informed debate powered by an engaging lesson.

Watch this screening and Q&A with our Chief Academic Officer, Dan Cogan-Drew and Dr. Heidi Hayes Jacobs, who will turn the concepts in the film into practical advice for building learning recovery plans centered on student engagement.
