Jennifer Murrihy

Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum and Instruction, East Haven Public Schools

Jennifer Murrihy holds an elementary and secondary history certification, having taught for most of her career in fifth grade. She was a co-author of the 2015 Connecticut Secondary and Elementary Social Studies Frameworks, and the 2015 Connecticut History Teacher of the Year. She has consulted with districts throughout the state on the implementation of inquiry and social studies instruction and currently a doctoral candidate at the University of Hartford researching social studies curriculum implementation.

Director of Federal Programs and Staff Evaluation Systems, Kingman Unified School District

Shelley Osterman is the Director of Federal Programs for Kingman Unified School District. She currently oversees federal Title programs that focus on school improvement in the areas of student achievement, intervention and enrichment, English Learners, at-risk student populations and staff professional development.
