By registering for Newsela Summer Workshops, you will be registering for a Zoom webinar and will receive confirmation and conference links directly from Zoom.
Not sure if you'll be able to make it? All registrants will receive recordings to view and share with your colleagues. Please note that PD certificates are only offered to those who attend the live sessions
Daily program structure:
Day 1: Two sessions to kick off Summer Workshops including a keynote address from Matt Miller and a chance to learn what’s new at Newsela for the 22-23 school year.
Days 2-5: Three sessions that will allow you to dive deeper into how Newsela solves for specific classroom problems.
Day 6: One session that will provide an overview of the Newsela Certified Educator course and the benefits of becoming certified.
